About Me

ABOUT MEI am L'Oreal Moore. I am from Demopolis Alabama, a VERY small but beautiful town. I went to Alabama A&M University to study English and I graduated from there with a Bachelors of Arts in English. Following my first degree, I went to the University of Alabama in Huntsville where I received my Masters in English. I also wrote a thesis entitled Forms of Worship practiced in the African American Church. It focuses on bridging cultural gaps in worship spaces, specifically Af. Am. spaces. It was fun to write and I hope to revisit it again soon.

I started pursuing my doctoral degree in Instructional Leadership two semesters ago at the one and only University of Alabama (ROLL TIDE); however, I recently withdrew because I simply do not have time to travel to school AND be efficient at teaching high school English.

Currently, I serve as an English teacher and adjunct English instructor at the University of West Alabama and I am in pursuit of ways to make students technologically literate. I want to help my community schools move from the traditional classroom and into a digital one. So, I chose Boise State University, one of the best universities for teachers!

I am excited about what's in store for me and I cannot wait to get started with courses!
